Mission: The Coptic Educational Foundation (CEF) is a non-profit organization established in 2002 to “Aid, Reinforce, Acknowledge & Reward”. In doing so, we want to Aid our high school students to qualify for acceptance into college; Reinforce their efforts and commitment towards attaining higher education; Acknowledge the students that have achieved academic excellence and community activism, and Reward them with the annual Merit Achievement Award.
Objective: The main objectives of CEF are to encourage and support youth in the community to pursue their education goals and to receive a degree in post secondary education from an academic, professional or technical institution, provide career counseling and mentoring, and to facilitate the means through which one can attain a college degree.
Goals: CEF offers the following services: Individual Career Counseling (Students and Parents), College Application Workshop, Tutoring in Specific Areas, Preparation to Improve SAT Scores, Tips to Qualify for Government Financial Aid, and Merit Achievement Award. |
